Founder and Owner of SHIMANI Smart Skincare
Stacy Pavlova is Founder and Owner of SHIMANI Smart Skincare. She has graduated from First English High School in Sofia and has a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy.
Stacy started her career in a Bulgarian pharmaceutical company.
Throughout the years she has worked in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry on various markets in Europe, Asia and Africa.
After 16 years in the corporate world, Stacy left her job and established her own cosmetic brand: SHIMANI Smart Skincare together with a team of talented scientists, who have also developed products for NASA. It was just when the COVID-19 crisis started.
The signature cream of the brand is violet and this is due to the mix of the ingredients used, there are no artificial colours.
On July 1, 2020 SHIMANI won the prestigious Business Lady Club Award for Product Innovation for the Smart Skincare Series.
On October 23, 2020, the company was awarded first place for Most Successful Innovative Company by the Innovation Council of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In February 2021 SHIMANI was nominated by FORBES Bulgaria for Most Innovative Enterprise.
In February 2021 Bloomberg Bulgaria featured SHIMANI in their Business Start morning show.
Stacy is eager to help other women and transfer her knowledge, as the path to build SHIMANI has been extremely challenging and difficult and she believes she can give valuable advice to women who have lost their jobs or whose business has suffered during the pandemic.
